Stuart
Hunter, a.k.a. “Skip,” earned his Bachelor of Science degree
in Physical Therapy in 1978 from the Medical University of South Carolina
while simultaneously earning his certification in Athletic Training from
the National Athletic Trainers Association. His career history as an athletic
trainer spans college as well as professional arenas. As a trainer for eight
years at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, he worked with
the football team as well as the field hockey, wrestling, tennis, track,
and gymnastics programs. In 1989, 1991, and 1994, Skip served as trainer
for the U.S. Soccer Program with the under twenty-one team in France, with
the under-sixteen team in France, and with the World Cup team versus Trinidad
in the U.S. He furthered his career as head trainer for the Charlotte Rage
arena football team in 1991 and later served as trainer at the 1996 Summer
Olympic Games in Atlanta. |

| Combining his knowledge of athletic training and physical therapy, Skip teaches continuing education courses throughout the country and has published numerous articles in journals including The National Athletic Trainers’ Journal, The Physician and Sports Medicine, The Journal of Orthopedics and Sports Physical Therapy, and The Journal of the American Physical Therapy Association. He has also co-authored two books; Foot Orthotics for Sport and Therapy (Human Kinetics, 1995) and How to Become a Physical Therapist (Skip Hunter Enterprises, 1996). | ||||
| Skip remains active in his professional associations as a member of the Sports Physical Therapy section of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA). Prior to his current position, he served as Director of Sports Medicine at the Charlotte Sports Medicine Center in North Carolina for three years. He is presently the co-owner of Clemson Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation, Inc., which houses its headquarters in Clemson, South Carolina. | ||||
| Neil Richardson | ||||
Prior to 1984, Neil was the Director of Rehabilitation Services at Anderson Memorial Hospital for three years, and Chief Physical Therapist at Orangeburg Regional Hospital for six years. During his professional career, he has served as rehabilitation consultant to SC State College Athletic Department, Williamston Hospital and Anderson City Council Advisory Committee. Neil remains active as a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and South Carolina Physical Therapy Association, and he has served on the Board of Directors and Public Relations Committee of the South Carolina Physical Therapy Association. |

| Jim Stoker | ||||
During his 14 years of practice, Jim has developed special interests in custom foot orthotics fabrication, shoulder and knee rehabilitation and post surgical and conservative spine rehab utilizing an eclectic approach of manual soft tissue and joint mobilization combined with functional, stabilization exercise prescription. He is currently active in the South Carolina Physical Therapy Association (SCAPTA) serving as the Reimbursement Committee Chair and SC Delegate to the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) House of Delegates. He is currently a member of SCAPTA, APTA, the Orthopaedic, Sports, and Private Practice Sections of the APTA and the NSCA, and he holds active Physical Therapy licenses in SC, NC, and GA. |

| Catherine Sullivan | ||||
Catherine started her career in a subacute setting at a hospital in Greenville, South Carolina, where she specialized in treatment of the lower extremity amputee in the acute stage as well as geriatric rehabilitation. She then joined Clemson Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation in 2001 as the Director of our Seneca clinic. She was promoted to the Management Team as the Director of Marketing and Recruiting in 2003. Catherine specializes in physical rehabilitation of amputees and prosthetic gait training and has taken continuing education courses focusing on manual therapy for the spine, including training by the Jones Institute in strain-counterstrain method. |

| Tab Blackburn | ||||
Turner
A. “Tab” Blackburn earned his BS in Education, MEd in Guidance
and Counseling, and his National Athletic Trainers Association Board of
Certification at the University of Virginia. The Medical College of Virginia
awarded his physical therapy degree. Tab worked for 18 years at the Hughston
Sports Medicine Center at the Human Performance and Rehabilitation Center/Rehabilitation
Services of Columbus in Columbus, Georgia. He is a founding member of the
Berkshire Institute of Orthopedic and Sports Medicine, Teton Physical Therapy
and the North American Sports Medicine Institute. A highlight in Tab’s
sports medicine career was serving the sports medicine team at the 1996
Olympics in Atlanta at the Sports Center and Track and Field.
Tab has served as past president, treasurer, and secretary of the Sports Section of the American Physical Therapy Association and as interim president of the Georgia State Board of Physical Therapy in 1993. He is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine where he serves as a guest reviewer for the American Journal of Sports Medicine. Tab is also a reviewer for the Journal of Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy and the Journal of Sports Rehabilitation and guest reviews for the Journal of Athletic Training. He is on the editorial board of the Sports Section’s North American Journal of Sports Physical Therapy. Tab serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the School of Physical Therapy at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. He has lectured nationally and internationally on shoulder, knee, foot and ankle pathology and has specialized in the construction of orthotics for over 20 years. In 1994, Tab received SPTS’s top award, the Ron Peyton Award. The Sports Physical Therapy Section also honored Tab for his long time support of the Section with the ‘Turner A. Blackburn Lifetime Achievement Award’. Prior to joining Clemson Sports Medicine, Tab served seven and half years as Executive Director and Adjunct Professor at the Tulane Institute of Sports Medicine in New Orleans. Tab is our newest member of the Management Team at CSMR, acting as Vice President of Corporate Development as well as the Clinic Director of Sports Plus Physical Therapy in Manchester, Georgia, which opened its doors in 2006. |

| Lydia Stone | ||||
In the following years she was employed as a customer service representative with supervisory responsibilities at GTE Sprint, and as an Administrative Assistant to the Outreach Minister at a large church where she was in charge of all functions pertaining to new members. Ms. Stone has also worked as a bilingual secretary and graphic artist for South American Crusades, a position that involved speaking at public functions as part of the company’s marketing strategies. Ms. Stone’s customer service and management skills were honed during her seven years at Pediatric Health Associates in Illinois, where she ultimately served as Human Resources Director, a position that paved the road to her work at Clemson Sports Medicine. In her ten years with CSMR, Ms. Stone has been a part of the company growth in various capacities, starting as Office Manager in the Seneca clinic. After her return to the Corporate Office, Ms. Stone assumed all responsibilities of payroll, payables, personnel, and the many organizational and interpersonal activities involved in opening new clinics. Her primary focus at present is in the area of Human Resources and Compliance. |

| Kelson Colbo | ||||

Kelson's educational experience includes undergraduate work in Biomechanics and Exercise Physiology at Montanta State University, with continued studies at the University of Maryland in Physical Therapy where he graduated with honors and distinction. Kelson practiced for a number of years in Southwest Montana, including as a therapist in his own practice. With a special interest in orthopedics and neuromuscular rehabilitation, Kelson's twelve years of clinical experience ranges form hospital based therapy and home health to neurological rehab, orthopedics and sports medicine settings. He has utilized specialized equipment such as the Neurocom Smart Balance Master for both orthopedic and neurological treatments. |
